Last weekend (as in the 19th and 20th, not just a few days ago) I went to a local concert with my friend Brittany. She asked me to go with her since it was only $10 and a 20 minute drive from our house. I wasn’t interested in any of the artists but I said, sure why not? So we get there around 5:30 and the show starts at 6:00. We park and JUST as we were about to get out of the car we get the lovely Florida afternoon thunderstorm. Thanks, Florida. We wait it out, about 15 minutes or so, and then finally rush inside of the baseball stadium where the concert was being held. As soon as we get inside we realize we could sit really close to the stage… if we want to sit on wet chairs. Or we could sit up super high in the mildly covered seats that are nice and dry. So of course we opt for the dry ones. Within about 20 minutes of the first act starting, it started raining AGAIN. The wind was blowing the rain on us even under the cover so we went up even higher. This was mostly because I didn’t want to get my camera wet, but can you blame me? I ended up just taking pictures of our surroundings with only one shot from the actual concert. The picture is of Jon McLaughlin, the only artist Britt really wanted to see. We didn’t even stay to see Kris Allen, the headliner hahaha.

I saw Hanson there in December.. Stupid Fort Myers for insisting that it would be a good concert “venue.” I so hate how it’s set up and completely detached you feel from the actual music. My pictures are totally horrible too.. I also only brought along a prime! :)
Ok seriously, you need to take me to a Hanson concert. I’ve never been and I’d love to go and NO ONE WILL GO WITH ME :(
