You’re never too old for make-believe…

…Or at least that’s what I tell myself when I’m walking my dog along the back fence of our apartment complex. The one that is fenced off with barbed wire and makes me feel like we live in District 12. This is the Capitol’s way of keeping us in you see. But don’t worry, we found a weakness in the fence so we can escape into the wilderness and hunt for food. Or you know… shop at the Wal-Mart it separates us from. Either way.IMG_7490

  1. Oh my gosh it’s like I am looking at the Hunger Games! So cool and beautiful.

Thank you!! I’ve been wanting to take pictures of it for awhile and I finally got off my butt the other day.

  2. Sara says:

    Your pictures are always beautiful.

I can’t help but imagine myself in fictional scenarios sometimes…like when I’m letting my dogs outside at night. I always imagine myself standing on my back deck idly, waiting for the dogs to do their business, when OUT OF NO WHERE I’M BESIEGED BY ZOMBIES! Because this is a common scenario that plays out in my head, I have a habit of taking note of potential weapons anytime I step outside at night.

Is that playing make believe or is that just straight up delusional?

    • jaclyn says:

If it’s delusional I am there with you! Whenever I watch the Walking Dead I HATE taking my dog out afterwards. I’m convinced that there are zombies everywhere and any minute one is going to jump out and try to get us. I plan out the quickest route back to my apartment and find myself walking about there really quickly. I’m such a wuss.

Hi! Just creeping out. I’ve been following you from LJ; I’ve always loved your posts and your pictures.
So, on the post. I L-O-V-E (imagine that Ashlee Simpson’s song while you read that, please) this photos! They are so whimsical -I love the word “whimsical”-. It’s amazing how an aninimate object feels so alive and magical! Do you still use your Canon Rebel? (Sorry, I can’t remember if you were using a T1i and sorry if I sound too creepy, I tend to feel very close to my favorite bloggers)

Anyways, I loved this series so much!

    • jaclyn says:

Aw thank you!!! That is so sweet. And I love Ashlee Simpson, or at least I used to so I can totally do that for you. I do still use my rebel, I’d like to upgrade but I definitely can’t right now. Someday though!! And thank you! It was fun to do, maybe I will try out more like it in the future!

I just checked out your blog too! I’m going to add it to my blog reader :)

      • B says:

Aw, thanks, I’m so flattered! I’ve always loved the way you blog.

We were LJ friends long ago, before I abandoned my journal and changed into another abandoned journal. I was jupiterlejano and now I’m iamkelpie @LJ, I think we are friends in my new LJ, I don’t know, it’s almost empty these days :(

Well, knowing you still use your Rebel gives me high hopes because your pictures are amazing! I own a T2i, so I’m definitely happy about that! :D

        • jaclyn says:

Oh yeah I remember you! I recently cleared out my friendslist on LJ because I couldn’t keep up with everyone on there. Livejournal blends everyone together for me. I’d rather follow blogs.
